This conference defines and examines the clinical trials process, providing parents with a basic understanding of the steps involved in participating in a clinical trial.

Dr. Larry Kun participates in the Children's Oncology Group as Co-Chairman of the Brain Tumor Committee and is the principal investigator to the National Cancer Institute's Pediatric Brain Tumor Consortium for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Throughout the year, the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation presents the Informed Parent & Survivor Internet Conference in support of pediatric brain tumor patients, their families, social workers and the medical community.
