May 25, 2010
The Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation® (PBTF) is thrilled to announce that racing great Kevin Schwantz will lead its Lap of Champions during the 2010 Red Bull Indianapolis GP.
Schwantz, the 1993 500cc World Champion, will lead a parade lap around the GP track at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway after final qualifying on Saturday, Aug. 28.
“It is an honor for me to be asked to lead the Lap of Champions at the 2010 Red Bull Indianapolis GP,” Schwantz said. “It is a true privilege to be representing such a worthy cause as the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation."
“Kevin Schwantz is truly a legend of motorcycle racing, and sharing the Indianapolis GP track with him will provide lifelong memories to all who participate,” said Kyle Clack, national director of the PBTF’s Ride for Kids® program. “Do not miss this fantastic chance to meet and ride with Kevin while becoming a champion to the kids yourself.”
The Lap of Champions is limited to 300 motorcycles, so reserve your spot before the event sells out. This special fundraiser benefits the PBTF, supported by Ride for Kids®.
